Ministries
Children
Nursery care and Sunday School from 4 months through 6th grade, plus Vacation Bible School each summer.
At HKC, our Children’s Ministry spans from birth to 6th grade and includes a variety of ministries and events.
Nursery and Sunday School
Every Sunday, nursery care is available at both the 9:00 am and 10:30 am services for those 4 months to 2 years old. Sunday School is also available at both services for children ages 2 (must be potty trained) through 3rd grade. Please note that the 4th–6th grade Sunday School class only meets during the 9:00 am service.
Children ages 2 to Kindergarten may be checked into room 201, and grades 1st to 3rd may be checked into room 202. Please speak to one of our Children’s Ministry workers on Sunday morning for more specific information on classes and meeting locations.
We are currently using a Biblically driven, God-centered curriculum called Generations of Grace in our classes.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School (VBS) takes place each summer and is for children ages 4 to those entering 6th grade. This is a week-long event where children come together to learn from God’s Word, play games, sing songs, and so much more!
Fall Fun Fest
Every fall on October 31st, our church holds an annual Fall Fun Fest on campus where families are welcome to partake in food, games, and fellowship.
